KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE ON

THE ROAD

Honda Sensing is a suite of driver-assistive technologies that can alert you to things you might miss while driving and may even help you avoid a collision or lessen its severity.

COMPONENTS OF

HONDA SENSING

TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION

This feature recognizes and remembers road signs your vehicle passes. If you pass a speed limit sign, the speed limit will be displayed on or near your speedometer and above your current vehicle speed on the head-up display.

LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM

This feature will help keep you in the middle of your lane. If you begin to leave the center of a detected lane without signaling, the steering will adjust to keep you centered.

ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION

If your vehicle begins to drift too close to the side of the road and you have not activated a turn signal, RDM will alert you via the steering wheel vibrating.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Keeping a constant speed and a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you is the job of ACC, removing your need to keep your foot on the brake pedal or accelerator.

FORWARD COLLISION WARNING

FCW uses a small camera, mounted at the top of the front windshield, to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you. If it is determined a collision is possible with yourself and another vehicle, FCW will alert you with audio and visual alerts.

Collision Mitigation Braking System

CMBS will automatically apply brake pressure if you fail to respond to Forward Collision Warning. If a collision with a vehicle in front of you is determined to be unavoidable, the CMBS will bring your vehicle to a stop.
